How do I install a Miyaw eSIM on Android?

By Serhat Dogan · Last updated 2026-06-04

On Android, add your Miyaw eSIM under Settings → Network & internet → SIMs (or SIM Manager on Samsung), scan the QR code from your email or dashboard, then turn on mobile data and roaming for the new line. Menus vary a little by brand — steps for Pixel/stock Android and Samsung are below. You can install before you travel; most plans start when you first connect abroad.

Before you start

You need an eSIM-capable Android phone, an internet connection to download the profile, and your Miyaw QR code — it's in your confirmation email and your dashboard. Exact menu names differ between Pixel, Samsung, Xiaomi and others; the two most common paths are below.

If data doesn't start

A few Android models need the APN entered by hand — check your Miyaw confirmation for the value and add it under the line's Access Point Names, leaving username and password blank. Then toggle Airplane Mode off and on to apply it.

  3. 3Scan the Miyaw QR code, or enter the SM-DP+ address and code manually.
  4. 4Follow the prompts to download and add the line; label it 'Miyaw'.
  5. 5Turn 'Mobile data' ON for the Miyaw line.
  6. 6Turn 'Roaming' ON for the Miyaw line (required for travel eSIMs).
  7. 7Set the Miyaw eSIM as your preferred data SIM when you arrive.
