Why we built Miyaw

Travel data has been needlessly painful: surprise roaming charges, confusing "unlimited" plans that quietly throttle, and apps you must install just to buy a SIM. We think it should be simple and honest — clear per-GB prices, a plan that installs in minutes, and your own number kept for calls and texts.

How Miyaw works

We connect you to established mobile networks in each destination through vetted partners, and present their plans with transparent pricing in your browser. Your data-only eSIM runs alongside your home SIM, so you stay reachable on your own number while you travel.

Editorial policy

• We aim for accuracy over hype. Prices, coverage and device support change, so we show when information was last checked and we correct mistakes openly.
• We compare honestly — including where rivals do something better — and we never publish incentivised or fake reviews.
• Where we make a first-hand claim (a speed test, an activation), it comes from a real device on a real trip, dated and sourced. If we have not tested something, we say so.

Accessibility

We build Miyaw to meet WCAG 2.2 AA and the European Accessibility Act: keyboard-navigable, screen-reader friendly, with sufficient colour contrast and a visible focus indicator. Accessibility is never finished — if something is hard to use, tell us and we will fix it.

The people behind Miyaw

Miyaw is built by a small team that cares about honest connectivity. Named author profiles for our guides are being published as we grow — every guide will carry a real byline, not an anonymous one.
