Editorial policy

This policy explains how Miyaw creates travel eSIM guides, comparisons, and help content. Miyaw sells eSIM plans, so we separate commercial links from editorial judgement and make material relationships clear.

How we create guides

  • We start with the user's task: choosing a destination plan, checking compatibility, installing an eSIM, or fixing a connection issue.
  • We prefer primary sources, current provider data, official device guidance, and visible Miyaw plan pages over generic claims.
  • We avoid pretending to have tested a destination, network, or speed where we have not done so.

Sources and verification

Plan prices, validity, data allowance, and destination availability can change. Pages should be checked against the current Miyaw catalogue and the visible checkout flow before publication.

Network speed and coverage references use published third-party benchmarks or provider catalogue data when available. They are directional, not a Miyaw speed guarantee.

AI-assisted workflow

Miyaw may use AI tools to structure drafts, compare wording across languages, identify missing questions, and check consistency. AI tools are not treated as authors, and factual claims still need source checks or product data.

When readers would reasonably wonder how a page was made, we disclose AI assistance in plain language. We do not use AI to invent tests, reviews, customer ratings, media mentions, or first-hand experience.

Reviews, rankings, and paid relationships

Reviews and comparisons use visible criteria such as price, plan clarity, device support, installation path, refund information, and coverage notes. Paid placement must be clearly labelled where it appears.

Links to Miyaw plans are commercial links because Miyaw sells those plans. Future affiliate or partner links will be disclosed close to the recommendation, not hidden only in a footer.

Corrections

If you find a factual error, outdated price, broken link, or unclear disclosure, email hello@miyaw.io with the page URL and the issue. Material corrections are prioritised over cosmetic edits.
